Bernthal – Christmas Cookies Are Hard To Give Up

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – I don’t know how many Christmas cookies you’ve had this week but I feel like I’ve met the quota for the first 6 months of 2013.

I’m not sure how the idea started … some say special biscuits in medieval Europe started it all.  Then we can thank the Dutch for bringing them to America.

It’s nice when someone goes to the trouble of making a tray of cookies.  Makes you feel special to receive them.

It’s eating them that’s the trouble for me.

So thanks for everyone who sent me cookies this year, I’m going to try and stop eating them until next Christmas.
