Iowa Woman Now World’s Oldest Living Person


JOHNSON, IA (WHO) – 115 year old Dina Manfredini now holds the record for oldest living person in the world.  

She takes the title from Guinness Book of World Record holder Besse Cooper, 116 from Georgia.  She recently passed away.  Now the title goes to Dina.

Manfredini immigrated to the US in 1920.  She was born in Italy there in 1897.  She has raised four children with her husband Ricardo.  He is also from Italy.
