ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – David Webb is the program manager from Saint Louis University’s Center for Sustainability. He stopped by to talk about the upcoming Sustainable Disaster Recovery Conference.
He explains some examples of building in a sustainable way following a natural disaster and how communities like Joplin benefited from sustainable disaster recovery.
The conference aims to help cities hit by natural disasters rebuild strong, livable communities by identifying ways to efficiently and effectively weave elements of sustainability into the disaster recovery process, while increasing collaboration among all parties working toward this goal.
