ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - The St. Louis Blues were heading into the 2012 season on a power play. They are a young team with an excited fan base. The NHL lockout changed all of that. Now a team fans hoped would hoist the cup could be out of luck.

"I think if you leave off the table for too long and it`s going to be hard for the nhl to come back." said Mark Dixon.

Mark Dixon is one of many fans who was looking foward to watching Blues' games at OB Clarks in Brentwood. But with no games this business and these fans have the blues.

On Tuesday the league offered the players association a new proposal that could get players back on the ice as early as November 2. That has OB Clark`s co-owner hopefull.
