Fans Rejoice As Cardinals Win NLDS Game 5

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI)– After Thursday’s disappointing loss, many fans told FOX 2 earlier that they were still feeling confident that the Cardinals would go all the way. Having to play a NLDS Game 5 just keeps things exciting. Their faith in the team paid off. The Cardinals came from way behind to beat the Nationals 9-7 and advance to the NLCS against San Francisco.

Patrick’s in Westport was a sea of red Friday night. Bartenders say fans sometimes have lucky things they do to make sure the Cards take home a win, including wearing a ‘Rally Squirrel suit, lucky t-shirts, and visors.
