(KPLR) – The Ferguson Police Department is confirming that the person of interest in the double homicide of Claudia Williams and Tasheera Johnson, has been arrested in the Minneapolis, MN. area.  Darnell “Chuckie” Vaughn, called 911 and was taken into custody without incident at a Minneapolis area hotel in Hennepin County, MN.  

Vaughn is the person of interest in the double homicide of Claudia Williams and Tasheera Johnson.  The murders occurred in Ferguson, MO. In the 1600 block of Norlakes Drive, in the townhouse of Claudia Williams.

Police also have arrested Vaughn’s parents Lois Adams, of Hazelwood and Darwin Vaughn, of St. Louis, for hindering prosecution and hiding Vaughn in a St. Louis County hotel and other locations in the metro area. Both were arrested Friday in the City of St. Louis.  A friend of Vaughn’s, DeAndre Galmore of St. Paul, MN. was also arrested Thursday in Minneapolis, for hindering prosecution.  

Both Galmore and Darnell Vaughn are being held on $100,000 bond in Minneapolis.
