Jogger Struck And Killed In St. James Missouri

ST. JAMES, MO (KPLR)-  Police in St. James, Missouri
have arrested a suspect in a hit and run that left a woman dead. 45-year-old Lisa Persicke was jogging  Sunday morning on Old Highway 66. Her husband Carl was riding
alongside her on a bike, but stopped.

When he caught up, he found his wife in a ditch. She was air-lifted to Mercy Hospital
in Creve Coeur where she died.  Lisa Persicke had 11 siblngs. She and her husband have 2 children attending college. Through further investigation and with help from citizens police were able to find the suspect vehicle and its driver. 76- year- old James Krewson of St. James has been arrested for manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident.
