Skydiver Jumps From The Edge of Space

(ABC) – Daredevil Felix Baumgartner jumped from 96,000 feet Wednesday, in preparation to his August jump when he will attempt to break the decades old record set by Air Force Colonel Joseph Kittinger, who survived a jump of 102, 800 feet (just over 19 miles high).  Baumgartner descended 18 miles before landing in the desert surrounding Roswell, NM.
