Four Shootings, Two Deaths In St. Louis City Overnight

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A shooting left one man dead and another injured in South St. Louis. It happened just after 6 p.m. at the Hampton Gardens apartment complex on Hampton Avenue and Arsenal.

One of the victims died from his injuries, another was transported to the hospital. Police say both men are in their 20s but have not released their identities.

Four hours later, a second shooting left another man dead. It happened on Queens at Harney Avenue. The unidentified male victim died of a gunshot wound. Authorities have not released details of the shooting.

A third man was shot around midnight in North St. Louis, but survived. Authorities say it happened when the victim showed up on the porch of a home on Granville claiming he’d been shot in the back. Emergency crews arrived and took him to the hospital. No other details were released.
