ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - The Pageant Theater featured Flogging Molly for a sold-out performance on Friday evening, June 8, with an opening act by The Devil Makes Three.

Flogging Molly, which was founded in 1997 in Los Angeles, bases their music on creativity and the use of Celtic instruments, including violin, mandolin and accordion.  They use various styles including blues and Irish music to create their twist and unique sound.

Flogging Molly's music has been featured in various entertainment hits including Mr. and Mrs. Smith with the song "The Worst Day Since Yesterday".  In 2010, the band performed a live three-disc album at The Greek Theatre.  The band performs across North America, Europe, and Japan for high-energy and ecstatic audiences.
