ST. ANN, MO. (KPLR) - St. Ann officials and residents credit the neighborhood watch program and quick police work for stopping the burglary in progress.  Around noon Friday, three men were spotted at the backdoor of a house in the 3600 block of St. Bridget lane.  Neighbors called police who arrived to find the men carrying out electronic items from the back of the home.  One suspect jumped in a car and drove off; after a brief chase he was caught near interstate 70 and Bircher in the City of St. Louis.

The two other suspects took off on foot and they are still being sought.

Neighbors who live along St. Bridget Lane describe their neighborhood as quiet and safe.
