Dole Bagged Salad Recalled in 15 States

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – 756 cases of Salmonella tainted bages of Dole salad have prompted the FDA to announce a recall. The salads were distributed to stores in Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The FDA is asking consumers to throw out salads with the following UPC and use-by dates.

  • Use-by Date of April 11, 2012
  • UPC code 71430 01057
  • Product Codes 0577N089112A and 0577N089112B
