A Missouri lawmaker is pushing to make it legal for guns to be allowed on metro trains and buses.
State Representative Ed Schieffer (D-Troy)  is behind the bill says it would be for people who have a conceal and carry permit.
If the proposal becomes law it would block cities like St. Louis and Kansas City from using local restrictions to ban concealed handguns on public transportation.
