FEMA has once again denied disaster aid for southern Illinois counties struck by tornados last month.  Illinois had requested the aid for five counties that left seven people dead.

Illinois had requested the aid immediately after the tornados last month, but that request was denied.  Illinois had appealed the decision, but FEMA has now denied that second request.

FEMA cited that insurance companies, charities and the state could cover the cost of the repairs.
