McCaskill Asks Voters If Limbaugh Should Be Honored

Senator Claire McCaskill has a petition on her website asking voters if Rush Limbaugh should be inducted into the Hall of Famous Missourians.  On Monday Missouri republicans announced that their intentions to put the talk show host next to Mark Twain, Walt Disney, Stan Musial, and Harry Truman.

This nomination comes during a time when Limbaugh is embroiled in controversy.  Last week Rush launched into an attack on a law student who was speaking out for the use of birth control.   He called her ‘slut’ and a ‘prostitute’ for speaking out for expressing her opinion.
