Missourians Are Really In A State Of Misery

A new survey published ranking states from happiest to saddest.  Missouri sits near the bottom of the list at position 43 out of 50.

The study called the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index and includes questions about six types of well-being. People responded to whether they felt postively or negatively about the their lives, health and job satisfaction.

The Bottom 10 U.S. States Ranked By Their Well-being scores.  The scores are out of 100 total points.

  • Tennessee: 65.0
  • Florida: 64.9
  • Missouri: 64.8
  • Arkansas: 64.7
  • Alabama: 64.6
  • Ohio: 64.5
  • Delaware: 64.2
  • Mississippi: 63.4
  • Kentucky: 63.3
  • West Virginia: 62.3
