Friday morning, the US Attorney's office in Fairview Heights, Illinois, held a news conference concerning matters involving public corruption.

An ongoing federal investigation into corruption in Metro East government snagged two more suspects. One of those people is the former mayor of Alorton. Randy McCallum plead guilty Friday morning under a cooperating plea agreement.
