The Fighting Illini’s Big 10 Conference struggles continued as they lost at Michigan, 70-61 on Sunday.The defeat drops Illinois’ conference record to 5-7 and their overall record to 16-9. Tyler Griffey, a Lafayette High School alum, came off the Illini’s bench and scored a career high 18 points to keep Illinois in this game. Brandon Paul was the Illini’s leading scorer with 21 points. Michigan used a balanced attack as four players scored in double figures led by Tim Hardaway Jr’s 15 points.
