Residents Clean Up Vacant Lots For MLK Day

Many are doing anything but resting on Martin Luther King, Junior holiday. People around St. Louis are remembering Dr. King through helping their communities by service. One such effort is underway Monday till noon, cleaning up vacant lots in north St. Louis.  At Taylor and Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard, St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay and other volunteers are helping make St. Louis look better.  Americorp is organizing the effort, as a way to give back to the community.
